marcodbeast Really? Wow, what a story - I've loved some of the tunes on this CD since it came out, and I only bought it because Negativland's name is on it. Thanks for the info
This is a vanity press album put together by Canadian plagiarist and netstalker Bob Dean (who stole his "Bob Dobbs" moniker and much of his content from the Church of the SubGenius) and his friends. Mr. Dean has been netstalking the Church of the SubGenius for years, and was only able to produce this album because trademark enforcement in Canada from the USA is so expensive an undertaking.
Negativland were lied to outright by the producers, who claimed to them that this was a SubGenius-approved venture in order to secure their appearance on this album, and mention the fact explicitly on their site's discography.
