FAR EAST
Makoto- The Tokyo connection commences duties on Looking Good. After a slew of profile raising releases and an outing on Nexus, the International Attaché gives us Far East - a superior epic on a global scale. Chiming hats, deep pads and textures lay the foundations for a startling harp-pegio. The long, mood soaked intro slips into a driving onslaught of beats and rumbling sub-bass. The breakdown captures the rising sun, the Tokyo dawn, the atmosphere for which Good Looking is renowned. Polished and skillful, this is a quality gem.
BUTTERFLY
Butterfly is a quality roller - big, bold string stabs carry the tempo, the bass is warm and summery and the vocal sample (provided by Kiyomi) is a peach. Something sublime for the hazy days ahead.
