The executioner's here and he's ready to make you pay!
Discovered Power Trip a few months ago and got this on vinyl direct from Southern Lord. An amazing record, this pressing sounds great. For those who haven't seen it, their House of Strombo living room gig on YouTube is frakkin' awesome. I'm sad it's the closest I've ever come to seeing them live. RIP Riley.
Edited 3 years agoAlbum and pressing are amazing. I've listened to this many, many times over the last few years, but I've held off lately as it just makes me too sad to think about Riley being gone. RIP
Awesome record, the LP sounds fantastic, much better than the CD version. Pretty solid thrash album
Run in is messed up on mine, kept jumping around and had to put the stylus down by hand rather than with a cue. Otherwise amazing press, sounds so much better than the CD.
My album came fairly warped, bowed towards the center. Still playable, but i'll probably replace it eventually.
Paid $7.75 for this and would have paid a lot more. This album sounds good af.- So guys...for those of you that own this..I have to ask. Does your copy skip/repeat the same 2 second segment with about 45 seconds left on the LP? That happened on my first copy which I chalked up to a defective unit. Told Southern Lord about it and they shipped me a new copy...same thing happened. So just curious at this point.
