- The fact that this exists baffles and elates me. I love the A side. Basically a great, full sounding cut of "Captive of the Sun" with a dope Bun B verse inserted in the middle to extend the track. I have always loved this track on Human Performance and often wished it were longer.
On the flip side, I can barely stand to listen to the Chopped Not Slopped remix thing from DJ Candlestick. It was hilarious at first, then it kept going for entirely too long and was honestly just miserable to sit through. The down-tuned vocals do not work well here. It took a lot to not get up and turn it off once I realized it was going through the entire track at a snails pace, repeating every single lyric about 20 times. The digital version clocks in at 6:40. Holy crap, DJ Candlestick and everyone else involved. Why make this in the first place? Then to actually release it... wow. Nice troll I guess.
