One of the best indy records of 1998 in my opinion. A very DJ friendly record (rocks well with doubles), Old & Wise is straight butter. The producer, Cave Precise, who by the way is from St. Louis, and has also worked with a St. Louis crew Altered St8s of Consciousness just killed the production. Dope samples with banging drum sounds combined with a smooth flow by YS and you got some dope on plastic. Don't sleep on this piece.
