The excellent Italian greyhound for which this album is named is todds. There was some sort of reality show about musicians and their animals that I caught by accident one day. Todd seems fun.

I got the Jonathan Richman reference on the End of Radio.

If you like Steve Albini / Rapeman / Big Black / Shellac, you'll love this album. Following on from Action Park, it took me a few listens before i really "got it". With "The End of Radio" for a subtle intro to Albini, in a refreshed and able mood, the album just gets stronger as it goes on, finishing up with "Spoke". A firm favourite on this album.
