They did it again.
Why again? Because, like The last two studio albums: Goodbye Country(Hello Nightclub) and Lovebox, this record is a well-balanced and complete set of songs. Each one is unique and different. Starting from club house in the 1st cut "Get Down", Groove Armada guys find a way to greet different musical tastes.
Yo can find soft techno in "save my soul" and "lightsonic" to harder in "Drop that thing". We delight a delicious roots song, the one that gives name to the album: "Soundboy Rock".
Of course, everything is not that fantastic in here.
"Song 4 Mutya" looks more to a MTV Fast-food music track than to a song and the CD intro, "Hasta luego Mr. Fab"... why is it there?
To conclude, let us say that GA are still rocking and if you liked last albums you will love this one but, if you are looking for a different thing... just download it.
