Notes
Music © 1981 Slava Ranko / ℗ 1981 Adolescent Records
The catalog number is not mentioned on sleeve or labels, it is taken from the runout etching.
Includes double-sided insert.
The symbol on the front cover is based on traditional Ainu textile motif (also used on the cover of Slava's book "Songs of Gods, Songs of Humans: The Epic Tradition of the Ainu" originally published in 1979).
Back cover contained an abstract portrait of Slava and short part of project/album manifestation (which is expanded on album insert): "I do not want to play music which sounds as if it comes from familiar instruments, music which is based on chord patterns, or music which fits nicely within any particular stereotyped tradition... What I want is the terrifying, the meaning, the cruel, the chaotic, the darkly exciting, the ecstatic, the irrational – music that resounds between the cells and in the intergalactic voids... – Slava Ranko".
Extract from insert: "...This records is the result of hundreds of hours of overlaying synthesizers and treated biwa tracks on an 8-track recorder in Slava's studio...".
