Dub House Disco practically defined that year for my crew. It introduced tracks that were a relief from the “mostly bad but we loved it” rave techno of the early 90’s.
it bridged the gap btw the amazing def mix house mixes which could be bought on account of their major label work, and the techy direction house was headed.
It was weird, good house was more underground, as per what cd comps and vinyl one could buy at a typical record store, than uk and euro techno/breakbeat, which was stocked like crazy. At one point” trip to the moon” was on like 7-8 out of 10 “Techno Madness!” Or whatever compilations. Maybe 2-10 were house and that was thanks to Rob and Mark at Tribal.
And we were right on the east coast! Still had to go to Baltimore or NYC for house, and it was BLAM! The best shit ever!
Still raved my socks off: )

"Reverse the Silence" is so outside the average jock's realm that it is still unknown as the tool it is. Real Trance, in every sense of the word, and I am glad of the fact that few will ever know of the value of this piece of music.
