It's cool to see this record trading for so much money as it does have a few great cuts on it. I bought this at the time for the Autechre remix, and for those of you who consider the mid-90s era as their peak (like I do), you'll find plenty to love about it. It's one of my favorite Autechre remixes, and it comes off more like their own track than a remix. It sounds like an outtake from "Garbage" or "Anvil Vapre", which of course is only a beautiful thing. I loved it then, and love it now.
The other reason I love this release is the Cherry Bomb remix. I was also a huge fan of Richard Brown at the time, and his remix here is typical of all of his Cherry Bomb stuff: pumping, chugging percussive mid-90s style house/techno. I honestly don't care too much about the four mixes from Hannant himself, it's the two outside remixes that do it for me. This is an excellent look into what was going down in the techno scene during the mid-90s.

My copy of this has a paper wrap around cover in a clear plastic sleeve. Is this how it's supposed to be ?

I only discovered this track a few years ago through a Klaus (1800 dinosaur) mix on the Benji B BBC1 Radio show. I've been a fan of Autechre and the Warp label since the mid-90s (I appreciate this isn't actually on Warp). This Autechre remix is incredible, I think someone else commented you can play it almost on repeat, its both dark but also hypnotically beautiful at the same time. Even though its not even close in terms of feel or genre, I would put this in the same category as Photek's 'KZJ' track. It has an even darker, more twisted final section that I never want to end. A masterpiece. The original double pack 12" is getting very pricey and for good reason. I really want a clean, high quality digital copy as well as the vinyl.

If The Autechre remix is played at 45rpm (as stated above) it comes out as 7min long when it states it is 9min +. Has to be 33.3

Good ambient/house. The Autechre remix is the standout track, worth owning this record for that alone!
