Reviews
- This works great on vinyl. Justice is a sonic experience and it's great to have these bangers on vinyl. That being said, side 3 is terrible! Unlike Daft Punk, these Frenchmen don't have a knack for vocals, so consequently I doubt I ever spin side three again.
- For me the pressing is simply incredible. Rich middle and high and punchy bass. Gives analog a whole new perspective. Volume is also menacing.
- Amazing sounding press, bassy and loud almost to the point of being blown out (purposefully) - such a fun listen.
- Near perfect pressing. Everything sounds superb on this pressing, the only small issue is that there is some slight sibillance on D.A.N.C.E., Tthhee Ppaarrttyy and DVNO. Appart from that the sound is stunning, the volume is high, and everything is clear.
- Edited 2 years agoThis is the best you'll hear this album, incredible sound quality! One of the best pressings I've ever heard of a digitally produced album. So loud, punchy, and crisp; while also being very full and has a ton of depth. Idk how the VMP pressing compares, but I honestly don't think there's anyway this could be improved upon. Get it! Also, you can get it way cheaper than the VMP pressing
- I guess recent reviewers and sellers alike refer to the 2021 repress Justice (3) - † (Cross) and not this initial 2007 pressing,
The 2021 pressing is determined by the new MPO laser etched logo + numbers starting with 21 = 2021 (MPO didn't use any numbers back in 2007, just a hand etched MPO) - Great sound overall. Good pressing. Lot's of static out of the sleeve but after cleaning and a full run on both sides it seems to have subsided.
- This pressing is legit. Loud, in your face and not a hint of surface noise detected on the vinyl. Very pleased with this release
- Edited 2 years agoI can easily say this beats the CD version by a mile. Yes, there is compression intentionally added, but the wax version is so much more dynamic and easy to listen to. The whole thing sounds more crisp. I only have the slightest of sibilance on The Party, but it's nothing distracting. I can see where it could get bad if you're even slightly misaligned or if you have a lower end TT.
Anyway, these are the types of records that get me excited, love hearing an old favorite sounding even better than I'm used to.
