Polish violinist (born April 1, 1915 in Warsaw, Poland – died January 15, 2000 in Warsaw, Poland)

Wroński graduated from the Stanisław Staszic Gymnasium in Warsaw in 1934. He then studied the violin at the Warsaw Conservatory, graduating with distinction in 1939. World War II interrupted his musical career. He resumed it in 1945, when he co-founded the Baltic Philharmonic in Sopot and became its first concertmaster. In 1947, he won a two-year fellowship to attend the Conservatoire Royale de Musique in Brussels, from which he graduated with distinction (Premiere Prix).

In 1949 Wroński became an assistant professor at the Warsaw Conservatory and began giving concerts all over Europe and Asia.

In 1955, he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta and the Medal of the 10th Anniversary of the People's Republic of Poland.

In 1965, by then an associate professor at the Academy of Music in Warsaw, he visited the United States, where he served as a long-time lecturer at the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, USA.

Between 1973-1975, Wroński served as Rector of the Academy of Music in Warsaw where he founded the Institute of Musical Pedagogy. He also co-founded the Association of Polish Musical Artists and the Association of Polish Violin Makers.

Wroński made numerous recordings for records, radio, and television in Poland and abroad.
