According to Hoffman, there is a (almost inaudible) short tape splice in the middle of the first track of this remaster due to the tape he used being damaged for several seconds.
I bought this 25 years ago & it sounds as good as ever. I can’t imagine the UHQR sounding much better. Save some money, buy this, & if you find a good deal on the UHQR, buy that too.
