- This album is Parsons at his peak. Must have. Even after listening to it since the late 1970’s I can still find myself surprised
Night and day compared to other presses I've heard/owned. This is the one. Snag it if you can.
They got the mastering on this one very right. Just got a copy in the mail today, wow wow wow what a wonderful sounding record.
I also own a 1977 original US copy which is muddied and overall not a great sound. This on the other hand completely blows it out of the water, and blows most albums I own out of the water. The soundstage is so unbelievably crisp and the first thing to notice is how amazing the drums sound on this album, and how this version makes them even punchier. Mobile fidelity really knows how to make a quality record, and I Robot is no exception. This pressing just sucks you in and doesn’t let go.- Just found a copy. Water damaged in a crate. That was sitting in a garage for many years. RIP
I use my copy to calibrate amp and speaker settings...that good!!- Amazing sound quality. My copy is super silent, no noise or any disturbance. Quality pressing.
