- Leaving a review here because I see a lot of comments talking about this press being terrible quality. Mine sounds great. Super punchy, volume is fine. Did arrive scratched from shitty sleeve. Not doubting anyone who says their’s sounds bad, just putting it out there that mine is fine. Is this a cheap press? Yes. Is it guaranteed to sound bad? No.
Are these perhaps unofficial…? Seems like they could be… I dont know
Weird, flat and compressed sound. Vinyl is flat and looks great, but mine was also badly scratched due to the paper OIS.
Sounds like shit! Razorblade romance big time after listening to this low budget shit press.
How many copies were made? Seems like several places in Europe, couldn’t fulfill the pre-orders. Or maybe they are just delayed.
Just pasting what I wrote for Love Metal because it applies here too. Very disappointed with this pressing. It's mastered so low that even with a pre amp I'm cranking this way louder than I should have to.
It's also very sibilant across the board which is rather harsh.
Lots of mud and mid sounding all around, needs a dose of high end in the mix.
I’ve gotten 2 via Amazon first ones coloring is almost solid besides a little around the label. No hype on the shrink. Second one has a little better coloring but has dimpiling. At least it has the hype sticker. Not too often do I go 0/2. Don’t know if I should try again or just keep that first one.
The label on mine is a misprint. It says that both sides have the same songs, but when you play it the songs are in the correct order.

So, this isn't the 'remastered' version then that they did for the older 2014 pressings right?
Edited one year agoSo straight off the rip, this sounds so God damn good. The bass is deep and treble very pronounced. There is minimal surface noise in between tracks which does not take away from the music itself. I'm so glad to own this on record, I grew up with the cd and can't describe how much better this sounds sonicly. Also the color is dope as fuck!!! Definitely buy this if you are into love metal and appreciate the genius of this band. Long live Ville Valo, my only complaint is the lack of songs like Siggilum Diabloli but I'll take whatever version of these albums I can get for a decent price.
