Very bad sound. I have this edition:

what an awful sounding repress, holy god the sound is flat beyond believe, nothing like the older pressings, what a complete waste of money all the newbury repressses of HIM sound flat its like a 128 kbps mp3 file compressed on vinyl!
I will be selling these and wait for a better repress by anyone else besides Newbury
Great album with a really nice mix but similar to my 2023 newbury comics HIM - Love Metal reissue the last 3 tracks on side 2 have a spot that has quiet ticks that come and go but no visible marks or damage otherwise a really nice record overall. A tooth pick, record cleaner and a gentle hand may or may not remove the ticks haven’t tried but it has work for me with damaged vinyl before.- There is no need to pay $99 from flippers...still available on Newbury website along with Greatest Lovesongs and Deep Shadows.
