Notes

Secret Record Store Day 2015 release signed by Paul McCartney. A first wave of records appeared in selected shops in the UK on 6th-7th of April 2015. Selected shops in the US received a single copy and were instructed to not advertise it or include it with the rest of the RSD releases, but to hide it under the Paul McCartney section at RSD 18th of April. Each side contains a different unreleased alternate mix of "Hope For The Future".

Allegedly limited to 100 copies worldwide.

The record was originally released in a white generic die-cut cardboard jacket, a thin white inner sleeve and an inserted card with details of how to download a '3D printable Paul' figurine.

That rare record could buy you a house. RSD 2023 is tomorrow, Saturday 4/22/23. Word on the street says there'lll be obscure, hidden treasure. Secret messages inside every Ringo Starr album, to be revealed upon reverse playback and that guides the listener to Magical Pepperland. :-)

what is so fun about this release is how close to the process paul was to his fans. the copy in my local was priced at $9.99 (as instructed by paul) and placed unassumingly in the mccartney bin. retailers were asked to take a photo of the lucky customer and put it up in a blog of some sort. rare indeed.

While there is a consensus that Paul penned the UK copies (a few probably written with his right hand) it is still debated whether he actually signed the US discs. At least four variations in writing styles have emerged, see release images above for illustrations. Although there is no official information, both the self-penning and the edition size has been reported independently by both US and UK records stores.
