Показать все (70)- Excellent. My only complaint is a statically charged A side which adds some surface noise but I think this will be resolved after cleaning.
- Totally agree with the comments regarding price, I scored my copy for only AUD$50, and it deserves pushing the speakers to fully achieve that immersive soundscape...
- Genuinely forgot i was listening to vinyl when playing this. Just a glorious pressing - so clear and noise free - and for £20 it was deal of the century.
Fantastic pressing, I am beyond happy. This will not disappoint. What an album.
For the money, this is an absolute steal, the pressing is flat and quite. I only brought it today as I'd finally given in to knowing I'd not be able to afford a mint first press.
I'm so glad I did. Also, that sleeve, ooh it's nice and soft!
As someone who has compared this to Japanese PRO USE, MFSL reissue and UK early pressings I can easily say that its a fine alternative for anyone who wants easy and cheap access to a quiet and well sounding copy.
In short, its one of the most balanced cuts of the album, making most aspects heard and appreciated even on lower quality gear. And still, the bass and highs are here in an almost perfectly EQd soundstage.
The main drawback is a slight harshness to the sound compared to most other cuts and a slight lack of depth.

Custom made HQ Speaker Cables- My copy sounds really nice. I've only played it twice, once through my stereo speakers and once through my headphones (vintage NOS new in box Realistic NOVA40 1982, best set of headphones I've ever had over my ears, and I've had lots!) My system is modern AVR Onkyo TX-NR6100, Teac TN-350 w/ AT95E, Klipsch R-610F & Klipsch R-120SW. Even with the low end cartridge this record has some nice clean output. I heard 2 little pops out of both listens. Not sure if it was in the same spot or not, will have to remember where it is if I hear it again and see if I can find out, It was faint though and could have been many things because I refuse to live in a laboratory! I'm happy with it and glad to find out from others that it's a decent pressing.
