Our grading system for vinyl, compact discs and DVD’s are as follows:
Sealed: Just what it means. Sealed from new. As released from the point of manufacturing.
Generic: Issued in a clear plastic sleeve as for picture discs or in a plain sleeve as issued by the manufacturer.
Mint (M): The item itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Items advertised as “sealed from new” are Mint.
Near Mint (NM): The collectible is perfect but may or may not have the original packaging which will be noted in the Public Comments section of our items listing.
Very Good Plus (VG+): The item has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Very Good (VG): A step below Very Good Plus and a step above Good Plus.
Good Plus (G+): Seriously folks. There is really a grading such as this for vinyl, compact discs and DVD’s?
Good (G): The item has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
Fair (F): Collectible to some, and not worth anything to most.
Poor (P): The item will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Generic clear plastic picture disc sleeves may or may not be perfect and may have been subjected to wear and tear over the years. Not graded means that this particular item is missing the generic clear plastic picture disc sleeve.
The majority of our CDs are near perfect with no obvious signs of use. They may have been played but have been handled very carefully.
Inserts/Inlays/Booklets/Sleeves and Digipaks are also for the most part in near perfect condition with no obvious signs of wear and may have only the slightest of marks from handling.
