We are open, we are shipping, and orders to most regions are arriving at times similar to those prior to Covid-19. However, significant delays to some countries remain for standard air mail service for one simple reason: air mail is carried by commercial airliners in many cases. As the majority of international flights remain grounded, there is a very limited number of planes available to carry international mail. For this reason, 'air mail' delivery that may have taken just a few weeks to reach you in the past, now can often take as long as 4-8 weeks in some cases. This can be confirmed when tracking orders sent by Registered Mail, where we can see packages simply sitting at Tokyo or Osaka airports for weeks - waiting for an available flight to be loaded onto. Please remain mindful and cognizant of this situation and maintain reasonable expectations. All of us may be worn out by Covid-19, and one thing remains true: global delivery networks continue facing severe handicaps. We kindly ask you to please keep this in mind when waiting for your orders to reach you.

Please note that express services like FedEx, and DHL for example, often use their own delivery fleets, thus they do not face similar delays as standard air mail that relies on commercial airlines for delivery.

Simply put: Yes, we are able to ship to you, but delays for some regions, and services should be expected. ✔️

In some cases (depending on the country you're located in) tracking (if purchased at checkout) will be provided to you a few days before delivery (whereas until recently, we would provide tracking a few days after your order was dispatched). This is one minor adjustment to our service we must make, in order to continue being able to effectively serve you during this time. For example: if you are in Russia, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Romania, Greece, or Brazil (among a few others), tracking will only be available several days prior to delivery, as our Swiss partner remains the only method of getting packages to your region). Delivery to these regions continues to experience longer than usual wait times (in some cases around 6-10 weeks, unless of course courier service is selected at checkout: those are private delivery companies with their own fleets, and deliver very quickly). Please note, that the situation regarding border closures, service suspension, flight cancellations (most 'air' mail is carried on commercial flights), continues changing on an almost daily basis: while an estimate we present may be reflect the situation at time of writing - repeated lockdowns, border closures, or other postal service limitations days after your package is sent, may suddenly and without notice, significantly impact (and impair) delivery times.

Please, be mindful that we have as much control over the global situation as you do. Mail continues to flow internationally but, delivery times are unpredictable- to put it mildly, and vary significantly.

How much is shipping?
If you have a shipping address saved in your Discogs account, you can see the different delivery options we offer, along with their cost, and estimated delivery times, in your cart - when you add items from our shop. At checkout, you will see a drop-down box, that allows you to select your preferred shipping method. Don't worry, we combine shipping when you buy more than one item, to ensure you take advantage of combined shipping rates.

Are you open 7 days per week?
Yes, and no. We may not be able to reply to messages during weekends (please allow us to take a short break during the weekends). Thus, if you have sent an enquiry to us on a Friday (or possibly late Thursday) it is possible we may not reply until Monday or Tuesday, depending on how many messages await us on Monday. While a small segment of customers will use the weekend to re-send their messages multiple times (sometimes with increasing hostility every few hours), we assure you, this is not necessary. We respond as soon as we're able to, and always in the order we receive messages. Occasionally, some of our staff will serve our customers on the weekends, but we kindly request that service on the weekends not be expected.

How quick do you ship?
We do our very best to ship your orders fast. But, in the interest of genuine transparency: we're not always able to ship on the same or even following day. There are many reasons why we may sometimes take a few extra days to ship your package. Any delay in shipping an order, is always directly related to us ensuring we provide you with the best possible experience when you receive your package. Additionally, Japan Post does not accept mail during the weekends (with the exception of a few major outlets in Tokyo), thus, we do not process orders during the weekend.

Will you send me a tracking number?
Of course (if, you paid for tracked service). At checkout, please be sure to select any of the tracked services we offer (denoted by "With Tracking" next to the shipping service). We provide tracking code updates several days after your package is shipped. Reason being, tracking is often not updated by Japan Post or the courier company for a day or two until after a package is handed off to them. Until recently, we'd provide tracking immediately. However, for the aforementioned reason, customers would immediately check tracking, only to see a message like "This tracking number is invalid" followed by the expected frustrated messages. To avoid these, we now offer tracking a few days after shipping. There is no need to request it: we provide it, as soon as it is available to us, and reflected on the tracking website.

What happens if I have an issue?
There is simply no way that everything will always go as expected. We're human. Despite our best efforts, an isolated case of human error can never be entirely eliminated. We really do give it our best, on every order, to prove to you - the reader - that we remain worthy of the incredible feedback so many of you have been kind enough to leave us. If you have received a package - and you feel, something isn't up to your expectations, please - communicate with us first. Talk to us - we're here for you. We believe that diplomacy and respectful communication can resolve any issue that may arise here. Music collecting should be fun, never stressful. We do what we can to keep it that way. In the isolated case something is amiss, please, resist the temptation to shoot first, ask questions later (like, leaving poor feedback, sending hostile messages, etc). Reach out, talk to us, and we'll offer a remedy or two.

Our team recently completed our move from the Tokyo area to the southern parts of Japan.
