Welcome to Rook Records. We are an independent East London Record Shop based in Hackney Wick. We specialise in used vinyl across a range of genres. Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, Afro, Latin House, Reggae, Blues and much more!

Our minimum order is £5 for all orders. For larger orders over £100 drop us a message and we can work out a deal!

We get a lot of enquiries for pics / particular details of records. Please note we have a huge inventory and won't be able to offer this for any items below £10.

All orders over £40 will go 'Signed For' for an additional £1.

These prices apply to a maximum of 2kg (about 7 LPs). Above that I ship by courier, which is priced by country

PLEASE NOTE: All orders from South/ Central America and Africa must be sent Tracked/ Signed.

For larger orders over 7 records, please contact us for a courier quote to your specific country.

Postage delays/ loss:

In order to declare an item lost, we must wait a certain length of time after the shipping date.

For UK orders, parcels are considered lost 12 working days after shipping date.

For international orders, parcels are considered lost 6 weeks after shipping date.

If it reaches this time, we will refund the order or send out a replacement.

Returns:

PLEASE NOTE: Please contact us before you return any items.

If you change your mind, you can return your order to us within 7 days of receipt.*

*Bear in mind that if there is nothing wrong with the record/s, you will be responsible for the return postage cost

For any faulty/damaged items:

a) You can return them to us for a full refund as long as we are notified of the fault within 30 days of receipt. We will also refund the cost of your return postage. In order for us to do this, please make sure that you take a photo of the postage receipt. For UK orders please send them back by 2nd class standard. For international please contact us.

b) If you’re happy to keep the record, we will offer you a % discount as a refund depending on the severity of the damage.
