Refund Policy
You may return items for a refund with a valid reason (item not as described, damaged heavily, etc.). Shipping costs are non-refundable. Items MUST be returned in order to obtain a refund. You must provide a tracking number / delivery confirmation for any returned items.
Smaller pen marks, light pencil on jacket/center label, etc. may be expected on sleeves or records graded VG or below. If you have any concerns about this please ask for pictures BEFORE ordering; orders will not be refunded if you have not asked for pictures. I will be happy to answer any questions before the sale, but post-sale, I will not "haggle" on these issues.
I try to grade records as accurately and as conservatively as possible, according to the Goldmine Standards. If you have specific questions about a record, please ask me and I will work with you to ensure that you are satisfied.
How I Grade
Request's for sound clips will be ignored.
CD's - Every CD that does not look visually right to me I test in Exact audio copy (EAC) to make sure it has no errors or skips during playback. This will be noted in the comments. Jewel case's are generic and may have shelf wear and small cracks or imperfections. I normally do not grade opened CD's NM ever just to be on the safe side, even though a large percentage of the VG+ ones will be very close to NM or NM visually. Items graded Mint are sealed.
"WOL " - writing or pen marks / pencil marks on label
M - Sealed only. If any defects are visible on the record through the original shrink wrap I will say so in the comments.
NM - I will grade NM when the record looks free of any marks or scratches that I can see under bright light. Dust may be present on an NM LP. Jackets are considered NM if they are sealed and have no visible defects
VG+ - I will grade VG+ to wax if the marks/scuffs/scratches are small / lightly audible or do not adversely affect general playback. Jackets are VG+ if they have "normal" ring wear or markings which are considered in my opinion to be minor. I realize there is a lot of wiggle room here so I try and be as conservative as possible, especially on jackets.
VG - I rate VG whenever I am on the fence over a VG+ grade for wax. Usually this involves more prominent markings/scuffs/scratches which may cause some playable noise but no repeating skips and no extreme visual defects. Jackets may have smaller (around 1 inch) pen markings that are considered to be unobtrusive, if this is an issue for you please ask for pictures before ordering.
G+ - Anything graded at g+ means basically "beat up". This does not mean that it's worthless or unplayable at all, just that deeper scratches / pops / and surface noise will most likely be present and somewhat prominent. Jacket may contain heavier staining/splitting and ring wear. If you buy a G+ record please understand these issues. You will save some serious money but these are strictly "budget" copies.
[b]Customs
If your item is held up in customs in your country, I cannot and will not refund your money, case closed. Please understand it is not reasonable to expect a merchant to control international packaging held up by an external entity.
Questions or Concerns
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any specific questions. I realize that record condition is often in the eye of the beholder, and want to make sure my customers understand what is being purchased.
If you have doubts or concerns about a particular record listing, please be sure to contact me before the sale with any questions or issues, and I will try to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase.
Note on Sealed/New Items
New/Mint Sealed Items, especially new re-issues, will not be opened before shipment. Assume it is the black regular version unless the comments say otherwise. Also, discounts on these items will be very limited or not available due to overhead restrictions, I have "make an offer" open on most of these items due to convenience and negotiation purposes for other larger orders, thanks for understanding.
Thank you!
