All items are IN STOCK and available for IMMEDIATE DISPATCH. But mistakes in inventory control do happen.
All items are NEW unless otherwise specified.
Most NON-U.S. CD's are NOT shrink-wrapped. Please note the Country Of Origin for this determination. Example: If the Country Of Origin is UK, the CD MAY not be sealed or shrink-wrapped, but is still NEW. In such instances jewelcases may have slight markings from shelfwear and storage.
WE DO NOT GRADE JEWELCASES AND CASSETTE CASES AS THEY ARE EASILY SCRATCHED AND EASILY REPLACEABLE. CLEAR DESCRIPTIONS, NO SURPRISES!
We have been shipping music products for over 35 years. We know how to pack vinyl. All unsealed records will be removed from sleeves and safely housed in a plastic outer sleeves. Sealed albums ship as is!
We have adopted the Record Collector grading system for Used CD's. All used CDs will be play graded. If the CD plays perfect it will be graded as Like New. Broken jewelcases will always be replaced. Minor scratched ones will not.
CDs either play perfectly or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. CDs are difficult to grade visually: they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Therefore grading CDs is pretty much absurd as there is no deterioration of sound quality as with vinyl records. This idea of grading CDs is a ridiculous holdover from vinyl. It makes no sense!
CD inlays and booklets are graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CD jewelcases can easily be replaced if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves.
