To Vancouver: Local pickup available (see below)
All prices are in Canadian dollars, so things may be much cheaper than you think. For larger orders of multiple items and orders that fall outside Discogs' auto-shipping calculator, please message me for estimates prior to ordering. Shipping price currency conversions are only estimates. See the lengthy fine print below for further details.
U.S. orders are primarily shipped using USPS Media Mail and directly by USPS courtesy of a third-party service here in Canada. This means all orders come with full tracking, with the same postal service you'd expect from buying from a domestic U.S. seller. All orders typically arrive within 8 business days or sooner.
On orders for cheaper/lighter weight items — such as low-priced 7-inches, CDs and cassettes — Canada Post may still be used over USPS Media Mail, since the pricing is nearly identical, and orders can be sent out more conveniently than via the USPS service. You will not be charged any extra for the more expensive Canada Post mailing, however.
Please note the shipping price may vary on larger bulk orders.
Buying multiple items: This can save you tons, as the shipping price often does not increase much when adding multiple items to an order. While it costs $12 to mail a single LP, it typically only costs a few dollars more — or nothing at all — to add extra records. It's roughly $20 to send upwards of about six LPs and often less to send several CDs and 7-inches. Also, if you allow me to remove the jewel cases, I can often mail multiple CDs much cheaper.
Shipping time and tracking: All LP mailouts automatically come with tracking and typically arrive within a week. Tracking is not added to CD, cassette and 7-inch mailouts unless the item is of particularly high value or upon request. Bulk CD and 7-inch orders, however, usually come with tracking.
Local pickup: If you live in or near Vancouver, local pickup is available upon request, typically within the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. Please message me for further details.
Buying a single LP: Outside Canada/U.S., shipping a single 12-inch LP is between $18 to $23 CA (€10 to €15) for international airmail, which varies depending on the country. Whenever possible, shipments come with full tracking, especially for higher priced items. However, tracking is not available for certain countries, unfortunately, or it is incredibly expensive, so not worth the cost.
Buying multiple 12-inch LPs: Orders of multiple LPs range in price depending on the service used, but two to three 12-inch LPs can often be shipped for between $25 CA to $45 CA (€16 to €30). Tracking is again added whenever possible.
Buying multiple CDs/7-inches: Bulk orders of CDs and 7-inches range from $15 to $23 CA (€10 to €15) for three to six items. Also, if you allow me to remove the jewel cases (when possible), I can often send out multiple CDs cheaper. I safely store the CDs and booklets in proper felt holders, so please do not worry about any possible damage.
Please message me for a quote if the total is not automatically calculated by the Discogs shipping calculator or about ordering multiple items.
International shipping times: Delivery times depends on your location and range from 5 days to 30 business days. In all my years selling records, I have only ever lost one international shipment, but some have taken some time to arrive. So PLEASE have patience if the package has an unfortunately long wait time — it will get there... eventually!
I do my best to grade items accurately and not "over-grade" what I am selling, even though that's an easier way to make a sale here on Discogs. I know how disheartening it is to buy an album listed as "NM" online, but eventually realize that is far from the case. I try to be as truthful about an item's real condition, testplaying everything when I can. So if you are ever not satisfied on the advertised condition upon receiving an item, please just let me know. Whatever the problem might be, we can work it out!
