SHIPPING & HANDLING:
To make life easier, we only charge shipping & handling cost for the first CD in your order. If you buy more than one cd, all the extra CDs get FREE shipping! :)
Air Mail: $ 7.10
(Available only for orders under $50, and for countries listed below under "Air Mail Eligible"):
Registered Air Mail / e-Packet: $14.25
(With online tracking, available for countries listed below under "Registered Eligible")
EMS: $16.75 ~ $26.75
(With online tracking, fastest service from Japan. Available for countries listed below under "EMS Eligible")
FREE SHIPPING ON EXTRA ITEMS YOU ADD:
To make this easier, we only charge a flat shipping cost on ONE item within an order (you pay shipping cost 'per package' not 'per item'). So, if your order qualifies for Registered Air Mail for example ($14.25) your shipping cost will be $14.25 - no matter if you buy 1 CD, or 20 CDs.
Please Note: Shipping is always calculated based on the heaviest/largest item in your order. The general rule is, we only charge shipping 'per package', not 'per item' (this way you only pay shipping cost on the one item in the order). However, to ensure this generous method is not taken advantage of, the item which will have shipping cost applied to it, will be the largest/heaviest item in the order. For example, if you buy 10 standard CDs, you'll pay the shipping fee for one CD (let's say you choose Registered Air Mail, and you live in France, that means, $14.25 would be your shipping cost- no matter if you buy 1 CD, or 20 CDs). Now, if you buy a CD, and, a Vinyl Record a few hours later (shipping for Vinyl via Registered Air Mail to France is $24.25), your shipping cost would not be $14.25 (based on the CD) but rather, $24.25 (based on the vinyl). In this instance, you can keep adding more records or CDs, and the shipping cost won't increase.

NOTE ABOUT ABOUT SHIPPING COST INCREASE IN JAPAN (2017):
Japan Post has recently increased their rates by as much as 50% for most destinations (for example, a package with one CD, sent to the U.S. cost 1400 yen until recently, now costs 2100 yen (an increase of 50%). Some people have been rightfully asking "I used to pay around $14-15 for EMS- why did you increase to $21 now?" The simple answer is: we didn't increase the shipping costs: Japan Post did. Remember, when you pay shipping costs, those are not costs you're paying us: that is money we pay to Japan Post, to ship your package to you. Everyone wants to pay less for shipping (in fact, no one wants lower shipping costs that we do, because higher shipping costs render some customers to second guess placing an order). However, the reality is that shipping rates (like most services around the world) rise over time, while the value of fiat currencies continues to be debased. What 1000 yen could buy you 3 or 4 years ago, one might need 1300 or 1400 yen to buy today.
In order to continue giving everyone the best service we possible can, within the limits presented to us by Japan Post, we now only add shipping cost for the FIRST item in your order. So, whether you buy 1 item, or 20 items, your shipping cost never increases after the first item. If your shipping cost for one CD via Registered service is $14.25, then your shipping cost will still be just $14.25 even if you order 20 items in that same order. In short: you pay shipping for the first CD, we cover shipping cost for any extra CDs you add to your order. :)
ORDERS FROM ITALY & FRANCE:
We apologize to our customers from Italy and France, but due to a very high number of packages that are 'magically lost' in the Italian and French Post system over the last few months (or held at Italian customs for weeks- or even months), we no longer offer Air Mail service to Italy or France. It is much too risky to send to Italy with any service other than tracked EMS (or Registered Air Mail for France). Only EMS service is now offered to customers from Italy (for customers in France we offer Registered Air Mail, or EMS). We apologize - but this is the reality of sending to Italy and France. We can send packages all over the world, with issues being very rare, but the Italian and French Post system, month after month, year after year, have proven to be the least reliable of all the nations we send to.
For these reasons, we will no longer offer any service other than EMS for Italian bound orders, and Registered or EMS service for France bound orders.
For more information about problems with Italian Post, please see the official notice on Japan Post website about this:
BOXSETS / HEAVIER ITEMS:
If you purchase a BOXSET or heavier item, the rates will be adjusted based on the item's weight (please do not expect a large CD boxset to be sent across the globe for $7.10- that's not realistic).
NEW DISCOGS MEMBERS / POOR FEEDBACK:
Buyers who do not have an established reputation here on Discogs (Feedback score of 2 or less) or have received complaints from other sellers regarding their conduct on this site may be offered EMS or Registered shipping service at our discretion, exclusively for our mutual protection (to ensure your package will reach you quickly).
SHIPPING for VINYL, DVDs, LASERDISCS, etc:
LPs/Vinyl/LaserDiscs: Just add $12 to the CD shipping rates above. For example, if you live in Canada, and purchase 2 records, your shipping cost for EMS would be ($19.75 + $12) = $31.75. Remember, we only charge shipping cost on the first item: so whether you buy one record, or ten, your shipping cost is still the same ($31.75 total).
DVDs/VHS Cassettes: Just add $5 to the CD shipping prices above.
HOW FAST DO WE SHIP?
While we make efforts to dispatch orders within 1-3 business days, on rare occasion we may require a few extra days to dispatch an order (even if your order has already been marked as Shipped). Please remain patient in such cases, and trust in the quality service record we have established online over the years. There is no need to ask for a tracking number: our team will send you the tracking number as soon as it becomes available to us. Requesting tracking information numerous times will not lead to a quicker response. Our staff consists of music lovers and collectors. We order plenty of CDs and records online for our own collections, so we understand excitement associated with having a cool record or CD on its way to us. We will upload tracking information to you as soon as we are able to do so.
ORDER FIRST, ASK QUESTIONS LATER?
On rare occasion, some users will place an order for items, without having the actual intent of purchasing: instead, they only wish for us to hold the item for them (make it unavailable to others) while they decide if they wish to proceed with the order or not.
Please do not place an order, and then proceed to ask questions about the item ("Hi, can I see pictures of the item I just bought? I want to check if it's the right edition/condition, etc").
It is unfair to other Discogs members who might be interested in the item, but will not longer see it, because you've placed the order (but are in fact uncertain whether or not you'll proceed). If you're curious about an item, be respectful to others: ask questions before placing the order. We'll be happy to respond quickly (often within minutes. Only place your order once you are certain you wish to honour the transaction. Do not use the Order system to simply place items on hold, while deciding whether or not to complete the transaction.
Bank Transfers (via IBAN - to an E.U. account)
IDEAL (EU transfers)
...and several other payment methods. Please ask if your preferred method is not listed above.

Our policies are intended to encourage a safe, fair, and fun trading environment for the wonderful Discogs community.
