GRADING:

Media: ‘Mint’ grading of records here is reserved for the still sealed items only and since no-one can look at the vinyl inside, the sealed at least have a chance to be Mint. ;) Or they could be warped, label/spindle hole off center, non fill issues, etc. :@O
So if its sealed with the original wrap, I'll be optimistic and grade as Mint.
Note: Buyer assumes responsibility for any visual/audible defects/flaws discovered upon opening a factory sealed album.

Sleeves: For all covers (sealed or not) the highest grade is Near Mint. No record cover is truly ‘Mint’ if looked at very closely or magnified and even if there are no observable flaws to the naked eye, top grade is ‘NM'.
Hundreds of thousands of records were sold 'brand new and unsealed' from several countries for decades. Of those records that were imported to North America, the vast majority of covers/jackets/sleeves arrived at retail music stores in perfect or very near perfect condition and many didn't even have clear outer protective sleeves. Some of the distributors started shrink wrapping before shipping to retail locations, others poly sleeved them or just picked/packed and shipped them, as is.

Digital Media: CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray and the 'good old' analog cassettes are graded Mint if sealed. Booklets/inserts and front/back covers inside sealed cases can also be graded Mint. When opened media and covers look Mint, they're graded Near Mint. Jewel cases are not graded. If there are any issues with a case, broken hinge, sprocket teeth, general wear, etc, it's replaced with the same style before shipping. Cardboard digipak CD covers are graded along with booklets, folded inserts and back inlays.

FEEDBACK:
IMHO, the deal is not done until the item reaches it's destination safe and sound and the buyer is satisfied with their purchase. If the buyer leaves feedback, I'll reciprocate in kind. So the basic rule of thumb is, the buyer always leaves feedback first. Also, giving the purchaser a choice makes sense in that some folks aren't into exchanging feedback and I respect those wishes.

Note:I always try to grade accurately, but we are humans (perfectly imperfect:) and subject to making mistakes once in a while. So before leaving a negative feedback or starting up a PayPal dispute, please message first and we can work it out. My goals and rewards as a seller are in satisfying you the buyer, and also in sharing, engaging, discovering and selling great music.

Happy hunting and listening!
