A SPECIAL NOTE RE CONDITION-ESP. FOR BUYERS WITH HIGH END TURNTABLES AND SYSTEMS: We will NOT accept any return or negotiate any refund for any albums rated VG+ or lower. Consider them sold AS IS. Vintage vinyl was never a perfect medium. There is often typical vinyl noise, light background static, and even a light click or two on many such records-especially at the start. Expecting perfection from a 40-70 year old record is a form of insanity. You can be that way if you choose-but kindly leave us out of it.
We strongly recommend that Buyers with high end decks and systems buy ONLY New, Collectible-Like New and the new remaster/reissues. Period.
Do as you will-but don't blame us if you aren't entirely happy with the result of buying a 'Used-Very Good' condition vintage album when your system makes every little flaw perfectly audible. You get what you pay for.
**WE DO **NOT** TAKE, SEND, POST OR EVER WANT TO RECEIVE ANY PHOTOS or sound samples, period. Please don't ask. The answer is no. We're not in either the photography or the recording businesses. We've seen well over 25,000 photos already. Maybe one in a thousand (.0001) actually show anything about the actual condition of the record. That makes the whole subject a near total waste of time and effort. In addition, we have neither the equipment nor the expertise to take or provide such photos.
**ALL ITEMS LISTED MATCH THE LISTING PAGE AND PHOTOS that discogs shows there-unless otherwise specified in our listing.
*We DO NOT TEST PLAY records for free.* We will test play and rate any record on a 1-100 side A/B, overall scale-either for $10 or for free if ordered and requested. Once we do that, those records are NOT returnable-as we are not responsible for how a record plays on your turntable/system or to your ears. We buy and sell 20-30,000 records a year. There just isn't time to test play them. They are, however, unconditionally guaranteed to be in the condition we accurately rate, list and thoroughly describe. We get back less than 1 record a month, max. Most of those are mistake orders. So it's obvious to us that we don't need to do that (test play records). The only reason we can think of that it might not yet be obvious to you is that you haven't bought any from us yet.

Our records are described from a CLOSE VISUAL INSPECTION only-unless our listing says otherwise. And you're free to ask us to test play a record. If we do, and you buy it, and it plays differently on your system, that's not our fault. Any problem in play is almost always the stylus. So you need to carefully clean your stylus (needle)-or better yet, replace it (at least every year)-and pay a little more for a diamond tipped needle. They're well worth it.
We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee-particularly to discourage anyone with any ideas of trying to use us as a free lending library. We can and will charge home tapers, buyers who don't read our listing descriptions and such up to $20. service charge for returns of that nature.
**FURTHER, RE RETURNS, a $10. per album, restocking fee will be charged (deducted from any refund) on any third and subsequent album(s) returned by any single buyer in any given year-beginning after the any initial two items are returned. This is necessary to counteract the 'free lending library' and 'search for the elusive perfect record' (in an imperfect world) folks. We do not and will not play those games.
As per discogs rules, no returns or return requests will be accepted beyond 21 days after shipping (incl. to a PO box or mail station).
*Seller pays for (reimburses buyer for) any domestic return shipped back within 21 days of original shipping-if item is NOT as described in our listing and is received back in a similar condition as when shipped to buyer. Seller does NOT pay for returns due to buyer error, duplicates, change of heart, buyer remorse, USPS failure to deliver 'on time', unwanted gift(s), etc.
*We do NOT accept or pay for any international returns, period. If negotiation is required, so be it. But any international return postage is solely at buyers expense and will NOT be reimbursed.
*We are naturally NOT responsible for-and will not give a refund for or pay to reship-any shipment a buyer does not pick up or does not receive due to a bad address given us.
* We are NOT responsible for lost or stolen mail-if that happens, contact USPS and request a search and/or make a theft report. Mail theft is a felony that USPS take very seriously and they will investigate.
*We are also NOT responsible for any album shipped out of the country-after it leaves the U.S.. Slow customs and very slow, unreliable postal delivery in most all S. American countries, Italy, France, Russia and elsewhere is NOT of our doing and we are NOT responsible for any of it. If and when you have such problems, we recommend that you call your customs and postal service directly. And please don't wait for 4, 6 or 8 weeks after shipment to do so. The trail grows cold-and it becomes both more difficult and more complicated to pick it up.
*USPS will NOT search, make inquiries or track further any international shipment-except Priority International.
Buyer assumes full responsibility-the risk-regarding any sealed album or albums. Naturally, we have no way to know what is actually inside, nor its condition. We do, however, offer full and complete detailed descriptions of the covers-which should normally provide a good clue as to a records provenance.
*On a related subject IF YOU WANT YOUR ALBUM/S SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE COVER, then you will be solely responsible for it's/their safe delivery. The covers exist in order to protect the records-in shipping as well as at all other times. If you don't get that, you're just not thinking clearly.
All records are shipped cleaned by hand. If you do not want your record cleaned, please tell us that at the time of purchase and we'll gladly oblige.
Our advice is two fold-first: get it while you can. Second: take what you want and pay for it.
