Rare Peeled Los Angeles Stereo Butcher Cover. Glossy vinyl with clean labels, a handful of hairline scratches. Plays like it's brand new. Cover is very well peeled, trunk slip intact and included. Has small BB promo hole through top right corner. Spine is intact with all text legible. Some pen and a heart stamp on rear of jacket. 3.5 inch split on bottom seam at mouth of jacket. Record stored in MoFi anti-static inner sleeve and 5 mil poly outer sleeve. Cleaned on Pro-ject VC-E 10-20-23

THE BEATLES Yesterday & Today (1966 US first press 11-track mono vinyl LP, textured 'Butcher' cover pasted picture sleeve. This version is known as the third state as it has had the trunk picture slick carefully peeled off. (3 Riaa Scranton much more rare than 6...). Almost perfect cover peeled professionally (very expensive peeling) and is very rare to find so beautiful!Copy published on RARO magazine.

Beautiful nice peel job 3rd state butcher cover, just 2-3 weak points. I won't descrive it too much since I assume you want to see pics before buying so just ask. Disc is a super nice and strong full EX Complete with Capitol advertising inner. Rainbow color-band labels without "subsidiary" rim text. The number "6" appears on the back cover, but again, if you want to be totally sure about details please ask or require photos!!

The peel was done very nicely. This is one of the finest 3rd state"butcher covers" I have seen. There are three small areas resultant from the "peel" (however, there might be others). There is some staining in the top right cover. The back top right continues the staining from the front . The spines are intact. Included is the original orange Capitol inner sleeve. The vinyl lp does exhibit some scuffs, most notable on Side 2. PLEASE EMAIL FOR PIX.

True second state butcher cover. Record is glossy, with only a couple of light marks on the B side. No spindle marks on center label. Original Capitol '66 inner sleeve has seam splits and a Hole punch. Sleeve itself has a brown stain on the front, 3" seam split on spine that was repaired with scotch tape. back cover has a 2 in the bottom right corner instead of a 5. slightly different matrix number: st-1-2553-a-17 Entire cover was covered in a layer of tape to preserve the original image, with a couple rough spots before the tape was put on. Otherwise pretty clean. bottom seam has fully split, top seam has started to split, spine seam intact.

strong vg+ all over front cover is a vg++ excellent no seam splits, extremely light edge and spine ware no corner crunches a little bit of discoloration around the white edge due to age this butcher was peeled a lon time ago not sure when back side has some light discoloration of all the white there is a 5" tape removal most of slick is still there can not see the brown cardboard still looks very white so not that bad of a distraction Please call me with any questions jeff 412-713-6748
