tempting to list as NM/NM, but there are minute flaws with each, a small scuff upper right corner front cover, microscopic wear towards spine on top seam and a tiny ding along opening on jacket. Vinyl has light spotty color variations in the vinyl which we thought was surface dust at first, but appears to be just color differences within the vinyl itself. That's full disclosure. This is a definite VG++/NM- all around

Vinyl is a bright and glossy VG++, sounds fantastic, with the only hints of surface noise in the dead wax between tracks. The jacket has a couple issues, there is some chipping at top seam towards the spine, the corners all have varying degrees of light ding and there is a light patina from the beginning of ring wear on the white back cover. The neatly printed initials "PJS" appear in upper lefthand corner back as well. Front cover maintains beautiful gloss finish that's slightly dulle

Both LP and Jacket are VG++/NM-. Sunday driver. Jacket fails NM due to a little crinkle at the glue line on the bottom back cover, could've been that way out of the factory. Some very light marks in the intro dead wax, otherwise this is a glossy deep lustrous black. looks untouched by time. There's a tiny flaw in the pressing like a piece of dust got pressed under groove which leads to about 20 seconds of muted "whumpf" sounds each revolution. Labels are A-1, deep grooves each side. re

An extremely well preserved and super rare album from hip hops infancy. Vinyl is in excellent condition, plays without a snap crackle or pop. There is evidence of a poor pressing however, leopard like swills/circles in the pressing on both sides in the vinyl itself are visible but do nothing to detract from your listening pleasure. This is a mint sealed copy. The only issue is cosmetic. The top of the box (pictured above) is concave. It bows downwards in a gentle arc, which is probably due to the tightness of the shrink wrap and the relative hollowness of the inside of the box set. There is a very good chance that it will conform to it's natural rectangular state once it is released from it's poly-prison

As a 15 year old, I took a bus across town and stood in line at JR's music at Southridge Mall in Greendale Wi to meet and greet Metallica. Got this record signed that day by all 4 members then put it away for good. There were hundreds of metalheads there that day, so the signatures are a little sloppy and done with fat color markers, I don't even think they made the silver ink Sharpies yet in 85. In any case, the signatures are still legible and we'd be happy to send pics to you upon request.
