Beguine Music Description
Or Biguine, dance music born in the French West Indies (Martinique, and Guadeloupe) in the end of 19th century. It became popular from the 1930s. Cole Porter jazz composer wrote "Begin The Beguine" in 1935, and Biguine is also considered to have influenced jazz music. More recently evolved to the dance music style Zouk.
