Donk, or Hard Bounce, is a sub-style of UK Hard House featuring an upbeat, energetic sound and a heavy focus on the 'pipe' sample as an offbeat bassline. Other allied sounds without tags which might also sit here include some of the Klubbheads' work, the Australian NRG sound, Spanish poky, and Russian hard bass.
'Bounce' should not be used for these releases on Discogs, as it refers here to a style of dirty south hip hop.
