Juke Music Description
Electronic music style originating from Chicago, taking its cue from ghetto house, but increasing the speed and tweaking the production style. Some of the makers consider the two essentially the same, but juke has gone on to be one of the various influences on 21st century bass music production which has spread far and wide. Footwork is a more rhythmically complex offshoot of it, and has its own Discogs tag.
