Absolutely agree. A true sound therapy (headphone listening is a must here), yet somewhat sad and nostalgic.

Also - is the title referring to the house where Frida Kahlo was born?

It's like doom metal by bands such as Nadja played without using guitars (the theme in the second track in particular). Heavy and overwhelming stuff. Great experience.

Thank you for this, man. Very accurate and important words.

Beautifully written. Same thoughts and feelings here. Many thanks for these words.

Yes, the music was great. I was referring to what he says before the performance of Masada String Trio to photographers and that "motherfucker" thing, jeez. Cheesy & fake behavior.

Whoa... hold on people, why so serious? Loosen your glutes as they say in my country. You seem like members of an Arcana-cult or fanboys. Yes, maybe "insolent copycat" wasn't a fortunate expression, maybe "inspired by" or just "continuator" would have... See full review

If I was to judge Zorn on how pretentiously he sometimes behaves during live shows (like Warsaw Summer Jazz Days 1999 - available on YT) it would be definitely -1 out of 5... But I probably shouldn't and focus on his work which is clearly 5.

I sometimes doubt that Celer among so many recordings is still able to release hauntingly beautiful, profound and not random sounding themes... well, it definitely is. This one is more than a proof.

Nope, it's much worse than Enya. A decent music spoiled like so often with extremely pretentious random "vocals".

Yeah, and maybe Postlude from Chromestesia by Variant.

Was the first track supposed to be recorded in (quasi-)mono or is it an accident at work?
Celer - Discourses Of The Withered

Melancholy and sandness from Celer on its extreme. Be careful, it can take you to places, memories or unattainable dreams you don't want to be reminded of.
Celer - Sky Limits

Existence of any religion is really unnecessary if there are such wonderful, divined music pieces like Equal To Moments of Completion. And that's only one of them. Spiritual experience guaranteed. Celer did it again!
Anthony Rother - Netzwerk Der Zukunft

I didn't expect some fabulous electro these days... And here it is! What a disturbing and meaningful music for the times we (will) live in. Great atmosphere, reminding of the last track from Computer Welt by Kraftwerk.

This one and Yagya's Rigning and dub techno is done for me. There is no need to make more of this genre.

What's so wrong with this release that it gets so many ones? The first two fanstastic tracks make it already worth at least a 3, if not only the first one. I don't get it...

Laika

Laika is such an overlooked and underrated band... unique, characteristic synthesized sounds, sophisticated, syncopated rhythms and once very sensual, and other time melancholic vocals of Margaret Fiedler singing poetic, intriguing lyrics - that all... See full review

Does anybody know from what film is the speech at the beginning of the first track? I think it's Natalie Portman speaking.

First part of Indentions On Summits Of Hands is one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard, not only in terms of electronic music. It's so overwhelming and powerful and don't know why exactly, but reminds me a lot of R. Ikeda's Luxus 1-3, maybe... See full review

How I agree with you... one of the worst cover designs ever. That's why I use the page with album title as front cover on my CD version instead of this farce. Music of course is timeless.
Celer - Continents

Now I can say it with no doubt - Celer is my music discovery of the year 2009. What a sad irony that I got to know about this duo by reading an information concerning sudden loss of its female half Dani Baquet-Long on some music forum. Well...people... See full review
