Despite all of the flack chucked at it, I rather like this album.
It's sufficiently different to his Ultravox stuff and has some really good, 'full' sounding tracks.
Good effort, Midge. ;)

I have absolutely no idea which release I have but I'll opt for this as a "best-fit".

£34 for a 7" single?!
Who in their right mind is going to pay that?

This should be linked to the profile of band Chillum (2) but the link (from unofficial albums) doesn't work.
Can somebody "in the know" please fix it?

And... Why is it unofficial?

The front of the sleeve - and the spine - clearly names the album 'CHARISMA KEYBOARDS' yet the two labels either side of the vinyl simply go with 'KEYBOARDS'.

Right...
My record label looks identical to this, complete with the indented rings.
However, my JA 2001 vinyl copy has a clear hype sticker, not black.
It has matrix runouts:

Side 1: JA 2001 AB2
Side 2: JA 2001 B (scratched out ∆) I TOWN HOUSE

Pink Floyd - The Final Cut
posted a review of Pink Floyd - The Final Cut. about 1 year ago
Is it my perception of it, or does the first side of this album actually just not 'go anywhere'?
It seems to just ramble on with quiet sections and then a bit of a song and then more 'commentary'.
It's very much a RW solo effort, IMHO.

My copy of this has the picture of John Wetton 'at a distance' on the back of the sleeve as per the original worldwide release.
I wonder if someone has simply switched the sleeve at some point?

Fabulous album by the way!

Genuinely progressive, if not one of the MOST progressive of albums.
Yes, I understand the criticism, especially where the track 'Infinity' is concerned, but the vast majority of the material here is excellent.

Love this album; always have done, right from when first I had it on cassette back in 1975.

Why has this been "blocked from sale in the marketplace"?
As far as I am aware it is not illegal because, being 50 years old, the material is out of BBC copyright.
Or that's what the internet 'noise' suggests, anyway.
