I really can't split this album and 'Map of the Past' - I love them both!
It's not the same as Francis Dunnery IB - it's a whole world better.

Bought mine from an online retailer whose outbuilding has recently been incinerated; both packages - like you, I also bought 'The Tall Ships' - look clean enough to my ageing eyes and play beautifully.

The CD features two extra bonus tracks - I have added the details.
Hope that's ok!

My copy of this has a gold "Demonstration Copy: NOT FOR SALE" sticker on the cover as well as a punched hole in the top right corner.
In addition the inner gatefold images and text are printed upside down! 😯

Ten songs and seven of them either mention "love" specifically in the title or within the lyrics.
No, it's not really a proper prog album at all as the Moodies slip yet further into the mire of pop fluff.
Still, I do like the opener, so perhaps I'm... See full review

This is most definitely not JA's best solo effort - you need 'Olias...' for that.

My copy of this includes a yellow track details insert as seen with earlier B&C releases.
And as regards favourite tracks, I could quite cheerfully play the a capella track "The King" on endless repeat.

EDIT This insert is indeed from... See full review

I presume that it is worth mentioning that the labels actually name this album simply "CHOICE" rather than "BY CHOICE"?
Anyway, very folky first side but it kicks into the better known prog-Strawbs on side B.
Nice collection of material - chosen by... See full review

Maybe just somebody with multiple copies messed up by placing in wrong sleeve?

Yes, guaranteed that's what it is. 👍

I have the same mispressing. Label states "53". Who can share any background on this?

But it's not really a mis press, is it?

If Pink Floyd had been German, this is the band that they would have been.
And since Floyd have now given up the ghost, RPWL have picked up the gauntlet and run with it.
This, their first album, is wonderful.
So many moments are reminiscent of PF... See full review

Some background on this fine live album...

The tracks were recorded over two nights (Friday 4th & Saturday 5th November, 1988) at the Dominion Theatre as a "Farewell" Tour.
Pieces were performed as detailed here:

Not really a review - just a comment.
It's always hacked me off that the tracks are not numbered anywhere on the CD packaging.
Yes, I know that I could do that myself with a pen but that destroys the integrity of the package, doesn't it?
