This should be listed as a compilation. Three of the tracks were previously issued on the 'Audiopoems' LP (Lotta Poetica) (one under the title 'British National Anthem') and the fourth issued on the 'Poese Sonore' LP.

The Copenhagen segment (in color) has some rather extreme edge enhancement, but is otherwise fine. The Rome segment (in black + white), however, is ridiculously out of sync. Seems like that's something that could have been easily corrected if anyone... See full review

Where are you getting a 32JC 213 catalog #? This should be VDP 5083. (Though I am puzzled by the 3000 yen price tag on the obi - mine shows 2812 w/ tax, 2730 w/out on the back cover tray card)

I have an earlier (p1987) edition of this - VDP 5083 (O-8-21) 2812 yen.

It's a black pressed CD. You can tell because the pressed discs have an IFPI code in the matrix and the CD-Rs don't.

Can anyone confirm whether these are the same or different recordings than the three individual LPs (Private Parts, Perfect Lives, Music Word Fire)? If one (me, for instance) has the DVD or CD of the entire opera, do they also need to get the earlier albums? See full review

The first editions of the CD came with the cover art identical to the LP; i.e. with the artist credit above the photo and the title below. They didn't move the writing to the right side of the photo until much later.

Yes, everything on the LP is identical to the recordings on 'Maximum Money Monster.' If you have either edition of that, you can comfortably ignore this.

First editions read "Mandala 2000: Live At Kichijoji Mandala II' on the front cover instead of 'Ruins.' Spine, back cover and label all read "Mandala 2000" as the album title. Not sure why this was changed on later pressings.

I'm pretty sure this couldn't have been issued as early as 1984 - Soul Note weren't using the "121" prefix at that time. The catalog number would have been "SN 1100/1101 CD" in the 80s.
