It's late enough in the year now for me to nominate this as the worst Pop cover art of the year. I don't know if Lauper decided to cut this together on her own, but it's one of the worst Photoshop hackjobs I've ever seen, and I'm almost certain (I hope) ... See full review

Don't fall for this – unless you're big on having a coloured vinyl and alternate sleeve, the only difference this "Deluxe" edition offers over the regular one is the included digital download code. That's right, you get to pay a 33% premium for what ... See full review

It seems to be a collectible picture card, probably called "tea cards" because the format is similar to the Brooke Bond cards that came with PG Tips tea for several decades.

Edit: This was meant to be a reply to midmost. Everything is messed up.
Also, if there were any truth to that number, 20% of all copies ever pressed would be for sale on Discogs Marketplace right now… and the prices are really low.

Just don't order it from the official Bandcamp! Whoever is handling that doesn't care. Never got the CD copy I paid for, and all my e-mails asking about it got ignored…

Here is an interesting bit, translated from the German Wikipedia article on AMIGA:

A wonderful sophomore album by Danish Agnes Obel, who accompanies her own smooth singing with sublime piano playing, and also wrote and produced all of the songs. She is supported by magnificently arranged strings, mainly violin and violoncello, ... See full review

Are they even still around? No physical releases since 2011 which is a shame (I don't like the download-only route, I need my vinyl, or at least a CD to put on the shelf), and no releases at all this year. Worst of all, not even their website is around ... See full review

That's true, I was a bit surprised as well after having seen the extensive information on the website, that there was only a leaflet with basic legal notes. I guess it is also a financial decision to not print more extensive liner notes, but at least the ... See full review

Different strokes. To me, it's the times of "Liquid Funk" that are the golden era, and I lost interest in Drum & Bass (and electronic music in general) when seemingly every producer went into the Dubwobble direction. And I'm sure you don't have to look ... See full review

I just want to say: thank heavens for Ben Liebrand and his Grand 12-Inches series. This is a treasure trove, and not to mention an important and admirable preservation project that he's undertaking. There have been many 12" reissue projects, but none ... See full review

A great remake of a great classic. Wackside built their remix on what made the original version that good, treated the classic song with respect and created something extraordinary. You'll actually enjoy listening to this without having to feel ashamed ... See full review

I think that after one and a half years, I can say that Colossus is my absolute favourite track so far. That contrast between the soothing, atmospheric intro and breakdown, with the soft strings and ocean samples, and then that big, fat, hammering, ... See full review

This is one of the greatest tracks I've ever heard. Talk about feeling the summer! Cool guitar sounds are accompanied by a catchy bass and beat and wonderful vocals by Stamina. This piece "swells my cojones" and makes me long for more.
