The only difference is the box and the vinyl. I'm finding these 75 issues to actually have better vinyl than the UHQR's though!
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Correct. Same -1 -1 stampers. They also used imported UK jackets as Australia couldn't make gatefolds at the time. So essentially exactly the same as the UK 1st press

Fabulous sound on par with the UK OG's. Warm tubey mids. Silent vinyl and fantastic Japanese packaging. Buy with confidence
Joni Mitchell Featuring The Joni Jam - At Newport

Based on the deadwax it's cut by Bernie Grundman so definitely different mastering to the HD tracks

This was unlistenable on my old cart. Just gave it a relisten on my AT750 and most of the bad distortion is gone! Just the odd microphone oveoad which isn't too bad. Fabulous sound without distortion
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bayou Country

Just picked up one of these from Pop Market via discogs and can 100% confirm they are holding the magic Hoffman / Gray AP cut!

Crappy paper sleeves, but after a proper clean the vinyl is silent and sounds incredible!! Dynamic, warm, crystal clear... See full review

Have you actually heard this? Or are you just yelling through your keyboard?
Dave Matthews Band - Under The Table And Dreaming
posted a review of Dave Matthews Band - Under The Table And Dreaming. about 1 year ago
It was an analogue master tape. They just cut this from a high res file for some unknown reason. It still sounds incredible. Just not quite as good as the AAA version of Crash
Dave Matthews Band - Under The Table And Dreaming

It was recorded on tape and then mastered from high res properly by Chris Bellman. Just a shame they didn't do it AAA. It still sounds incredible
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Cosmo's Factory
posted a review of Creedence Clearwater Revival - Cosmo's Factory. about 1 year ago
I thought that the regular Craft cut sounded good. It does. This thing is insane though! Everything is cleaner, sharper, tighter, more bass. Just more of everything! Silent vinyl too! So good
Holly Cole - Temptation

The only difference between this and a UHQR is clarity vinyl
Bill Withers - Still Bill
posted a review of Bill Withers - Still Bill. about 1 year ago
My copy sounds spectacular. Black background silent vinyl after an ultrasonic bath. Incredible mastering. Deep bass, warm mids, amazing sound quality. As good as, if not better than the other two Bill MOFI's
The Who - Who's Next
posted a review of The Who - Who's Next. about 1 year ago
My copy is fantastic. The vinyl is quiet. The volume definitlely needs to be given a nudge, but once you crank it it really comes alive!! Sounds flat at low volume
The Police - Greatest Hits
posted a review of The Police - Greatest Hits. about 1 year ago
The sound on this is absolutely incredible! I own a lot of OG Police and Sting records and this potentially sounds better. I'm definitely hearing things I'd never hear before. Crystal clear, warm, deep bass. This is really good!
Black Sabbath - Vol. 4

For some reason this got pressed with OG UK Porky Pecko metal work. It sounds incredible. Also pressed on very good vinyl. It's an absolute bargain vs the UK OG Which is exactly the same

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
posted a review of Fleetwood Mac - Rumours. about 1 year ago
I think you need to check your system if that's the case... I have an original US pressing, the 33 Hoffman / Gray and this. And this is lightyears better than any of them. So much improvement is scary!

Agree the Bellman cut is awesome. But this is another stratosphere!
Sting - The Soul Cages

The EU OG uses the same metal work as the US, is pressed on amazing vinyl and is super cheap
Nick Drake - Pink Moon

Never knew this was mastered and cut by Sean McGee. Makes sense, it sounds unbelievable. As good as any audiophile album I own, and on silent vinyl to boot!
John Lee Hooker - The Healer
posted a review of John Lee Hooker - The Healer. about 1 year ago
Unbelievable sound on this one! Silent vinyl and incredible mastering. No wonder the Classic Records press that this was pressed from goes for stupid money!
John Lee Hooker - The Healer

This has been re-pressed with the same AAA Bernie Grundman plate and pressed at QRP for cheap!

Fantastic release! Super glad I managed to grab one of these on pre order and it came in the second run. Beautiful dreamy jazz tunes, perfectly executed. 10/10 sound and perfect silent pressing. Home run by Kevin Gray!!

I think you need a better turntable mate. This pressing and mastering are flawless. It's one of the best sounding records I own.

Your anti skate should be set the same as your tracking force. So if TF is at 2 then your anti skate should be at 2

The 2016 press uses the same AAA plates as this one. Only difference is the hype sticker

It uses the same plates as the 20th Anniversary which is cut from the original analogue master. This is not the same as the other 2016 re-issues which were digital and cut by Bernie Grundman. This was cut by Doug Sax at the Mastering Lab.... See full review

The way to ensure that you get the 2010 is the RTI sticker. It's only on the 2010 issue.

They should pretty much sound exactly the same as they're the same mastering. One is just pressed at Optimal vs RTI. I'd just try find the best condition at the best price.
Supertramp - Breakfast In America
posted a review of Supertramp - Breakfast In America. over 2 years ago
jon.scanlon one would assume that the Monarch mark is there because they did the plating? Similar to modern pressings where you see an RTI stamp but it's pressed in Europe.

What makes you think it was mastered at Sheffield labs if it's got the A&M... See full review

Lol you have to be kidding? This absolutely kills the new mono mix. It's pressed on vinyl almost as quiet as super vinyl and the sound is 11/10. You obviously haven't listened to this.
Stephen Stills - Stephen Stills

It was pressed in Germany but used US stampers. So you get the best vinyl and the best mastering / sound!

Fantastic release!! 45RPM, AAA cut from the master tape, plus it's cheap!! The vinyl needed a few ultrasonic cleans to get really silent, but after that it's perfect! Highly recommended

The AMS cut is different to the standard press. Side one is analogue, side 2 is digital to fix a tape drop out. Cut / Mastered from the master tape
The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out

The in print AP 45 is better as the vinyl is better and you actually get a really good tipon jacket. Same plates. Better sound, cheaper
