Ordered from Amazon, showed up in a paper bag and of course fully damaged. I’m supposedly getting a replacement sent, but it’ll show up in a month or so. Fingers crossed it actually ships in a box this time.

I think their catalog is pretty easy to get into, and you can hear the progression from one album to the next. If you have the time (and money), that’s exactly how I’d go about it - starting with their self-titled.

I found it at a couple of retail shops here in the US and they all had it for $67.99. That’s just the going price for double LPs that are imported from Japan. You most likely won’t find it any cheaper unless you find an online shop with a discount...

That sort of information is what I’m curious about. Why is it unlikely anything would be reissued off of Rephlex? RDJ no longer owns? He doesn’t want it ever being released and has stated such?

Wow! What an incredibly crisp, clear, and well-pressed album. Very expensive, but the music is worth it.
Of the three hundred or so 2020-released records I’ve bought this year, this has to be 1st or 2nd in pressing quality. |

I couldn’t agree more. Incredibly solid pressing, no noise at all and crystal clear. Rypdal is so enjoyable here. I wish this was a triple LP.

A great compilation first and foremost, but I wasn’t sure what to expect it to sound like on clear vinyl. It is crystal clear audio. Beautiful work on the mastering.

Surprisingly sounds great. I know the typical experience most people say they have with pic discs, but this one is really nice. I did a little cleaning before playing, and experienced no noise at all.
