Great dark-ambient album. A classic.
P.S. If you struggle to discern the words in Part VI, it says "Dark unbottomed infinite abyss". Upon the first listen I thought it was some phrase in Latin.

Interesting folk-oriented prog-rock group with glorious female vocals. They have several live recordings on CD and DVD, this one is recommended if you haven't heard Karnataka before.

This is definitely the album that marked a new era for the band, as they were moving towards more jazz/fusion-oriented sound, driven by newest members - "rhythm section extraordinaire" - Jonas Reingold and Zoltan Csorsz. Sevaral tracks could be regarded ... See full review

While not the strongest album to date, Emmylou's take on Ballad Of A Runaway Horse by Leonard Cohen alone justifies the admittance fee.
