The pinnacle of "sound engineering" It would seem that it couldn't be worse... but it is. It sounds like you're sitting in a toilet next to a recording studio. I recommend listening from phones, these recordings were created for them. Just shit.

Perfectly played, as if Nimmer had achieved spiritual unity with W.Kelly. This is an advantage of this album and also a disadvantage. Well, let it be - for me one of the most interesting and not boring positions of Venus.

the super thin vinyl pressing is no problem !
This is simply technically week and poor - recorded during Live in 5 DAYS IN JAZZ '75. They were of poor quality and were not released at the time. Now it's been dug up and reheated to make some money on it. |

I like to reach for such niche albums, not advertised, because they often surprise with freshness and freedom of sound. Timeless open jazz, very well recorded and sounding.

After 5 minutes of listening, I switch it off ... clamor, my ears and head hurt. Compressed to max. DR6 .Listen for example, Horoscope CD from 1991. DR12. You'll see what I'm talking about, or rather what I'm hearing!

It may not be an outstanding work, but it is certainly a very good playing and recording. Played with Pete's virtuosity and good taste and restraint.
