Profile

We are a brick and mortar store so please understand that we occasionally are out of stock of some titles as the records listed are also on the floor of the shop and there can be delays in updating inventory accordingly. We ship no later than 5 business days from when payment is received.

A few abbreviations you may see in our descriptions:

DNAP - Does Not Affect Play
WOL - Writing On Label
WOC - Writing On Cover
GPS - Gold Promo Stamp
WLP - White Label Promo
OP - Original Pressing
SOC - Sticker On Cover
SOL - Sticker On Label

Warps affect playback within a wide range. We will use the terms "minor", "mild" and "moderate" with an increasing severity but these are only cosmetic for reference. Any audible effect on playback will always be noted.

We always note splitting to sleeves. We only mention things like spindle marks or the most minute of cosmetic marks to the sleeve if it is a record above $50 or so but always feel free to message us with questions or requests for pictures.

Thanks for shopping!

Apparently by this time in 1970 all but one (Terre Haute) of the plants Columbia used had switched over to the new 70's label. So there is a version that has a 360 label but it would've been released at the same time as the others with all being... See full review

Have a colored version from Mondo in the mail but the first version on black was pressed off center and has varying degrees of surface noise, ranging from almost tolerable to awful and distracting on both the Brion discs. The off centered-ness is... See full review

According to Wiki (whatever that's worth): The String-A-Longs had disbanded by 1964. Norman Petty, the band's earlier producer, still had the "String-A-Longs" name copyrighted, and to avoid confusion with the instrumental music of The Fireballs (his... See full review

Michael Lloyd from WCPAEB was involved with this based an interview I heard with him but only had vague recollections of it and didn’t mention any specific players but I think you may be right.

It may be a Dreamworks/Universal issue. Self's "Breakfast With Girls" album is the only one of their's yet to be reissued and was their only on Dreamworks along with "August Everywhere", Jonathan Fire*Eater's second album, etc. I've heard that label... See full review

Can we assume this is a boot? Most copies sold or currently for sale are out of Russia (almost always sealed). A shite press sourced from a CD could explain the sibilance and/or distortion folks have been reporting in the comments here.

I believe this is the 180 gram press you own from 2000:

The version you commented on will have "BQS" (Better Quality Sound) in the matrix and was likely pressed around 2003. Also... See full review
