Hello parasite. Did you decide to see the show in October?

If you can go, wow, by all and any means. To see Stapleton and Tibet together again, sharing a Nurse/C93 show? It makes me smile beyond the boundaries of my face to even think of it, though I've no hope of personally attending.

Has anyone heard both the CD and the Vinyl versions? I have the CD. It's amazingly well constructed, very impressive, but I wouldn't call it an easy thing to listen to, mainly based on what I'm hearing described by the voices. Maldoror may be ded ded ... See full review

Five out of five for the title. I wonder how many total albums Zorn has released in all of his permutations.

It's silly to fault Ulver for taking this meta-pop path and having every album be a complete departure, often a good imitatioon of some style that was or is, but damn. Frankie Goes to Holiywood? Okay. Sad to say, I personally would be no better off, ... See full review

It's been nearly three years since you've asked the question, but what the hell, mine has no warping, tone arm looks motionless, except, of course for the almost imperceptible move toward the inner last groove. U.S. purchase.

Why Why Why did this never get a CD release, but rather the a comp of League of Gentlemen. It's just not the same without kicking off with Indiscreet 1. Don't get me wrong... the God Save the King comp is very good, as is the CD release of Exposure, but ... See full review

Great stuff. Cashmore is a genius. Is that not Rose McDowell's voice on Dozen Winters of Loneliness? Tibet certainly, but there is a woman's voice both looped with the repetition of "loneliness loneliness loneliness..." as well as saying the same few ... See full review

I ordered a copy from Sugarbush Records. I was happy for the fair price, especially considering his remaster is limited to 200 copies, and surprised by free world-wide shipping. After a couple of weeks (I'm in the U.S.), I began to worry I might never ... See full review

Musicalische Kürbs Hütte, then, is the version that is duplicated by the Octopus CD (which has two bonus tracks)? The wording of the description above may be clear, but in my state of mind, it is confusing. I have the Octopus CD, and now want the ... See full review

'Tis true. Perfect visual/aural presentation of what may be a, if not the, best work by NWW. This, and the massive box set of Soliloquies for Lilith, wonderful. Forget the "best work" bit, too much "best work," and the madness just doesn't stop, nor ... See full review

It will come, and the remaster is done, has been done, but welcome to the world of C93 "it's only time." Running a year, a decade, behind is what one simply has to get used to. I pre-paid for a very limited Her Ghost Sings Spheres, which was at one ... See full review

I'm not putting his work down, and this may be a valid response to a point, but your examples seem a bit silly to me. Besides, this is a subjective bias on my part... for me deep drone recordings with dark spacey or hellish embellishments begin to sound ... See full review

I've learned that any projections for such re-releases are subject to change, or to be dropped altogether. The remaster is done. A test pressing with David and Cashmore's signatures was auctioned for some worthy cause. Still, I wouldn't hold my breath ... See full review

Great album. To have it on vinyl, one is either stuck with Plain Recordings, which is worse than horrible, or pay these inflated prices. ML RIP Sorry the world is such a dung heap.

Plain Recording: Stay far far away, and they have been licensed to do vinyl reissues for so many good albums. 4 Men with Beards, not as bad, but not good, and again, so many good records. Why?

It appears that 4 Men with Beards is the one licensed to do the new pressings... I was afraid it was Plain Records, who is even worse, but see the PL code going all the way back to '77 for some listings. Either way, it's too bad that the big companies ... See full review
