The artwork is a copy of Jean-Michel Jarre's "Magnetic Fields".... embarrasing !

One of the weakest offerings from Patrick Kosmos. Amazing that IC dedicated a whole CD to this tape release.

This release is identical to the original 1989 tape release "Faith", also included in the 11CD-box "The Chronicles"

Not really a compilation because this disk contains the complete "On The Third Extreme" album and the two Richard Burmer tracks from the "Western Spaces" collaboration with Steve Roach and Kevin Braheny.

In fact a "best of" with two previously unreleased tracks: "Shining By The River" and "Downstream".
Richard Burmer was one of the few artists - together with Vangelis, Kitaro and maybe a few others - who created electronic music that touches your heart ... See full review

This seems to be a Russian compilation as it contains tracks from "Another Strane Day On Gonxa", "Structures" and "Cloudseeder", and also includes the radio version of "Sphere", taken from the CD-single.

Also note that "Sailing To Marbella" and "Montreal First Stop" (from Absence Of Reality-album) is exactly the same track !

This is a "best of" collection featuring selections from the first 6 albums (1984-1990), and one new "tune", ie. track 6.

Cheezy semi-classical synthi ambience with below average female vocals... Pretty close to "muzak" !

This is minimal and experimental ambient (no dark stuff) so certainly not to everyone's taste. However, the overall atmosphere is dreamy and very soothing, a.o. thanks to the Frippertronics. Since the music was made for an art installation and not for ... See full review

We hear up & mid tempo synthpop similar to but overall not as good as "Forlian". Noteable are the unusual instruments (eg. "baby" keyboard and violin) on "Nocturne", an ambient intro on "Tears", decent soloing and a few good melodies throughout the album ... See full review

Below average (and therefore last ?) J&V album, it is actually much more a Jon Anderson album than an "even" collaboration like in the "old days". Vangelis' input is obvious on a few tracks only. We hear predictable melodramatic pop with synths mostly in ... See full review

I believe that this is the kind of music that could be heard on "The Landscape Channel" back in the late 80s. Unfortunately, without the images, the music comes pretty close to 'muzak'.

This music sits at the crossroads of psychedelic, prog, new age, space music and ambient. Recommended for fans of Popol Vuh, Fripp, Eno and Michael Stearns' early works.

This is a must for those out there who like the typical sound of mid 70s Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze concerts.

I agree with x273279 regarding the vocals. Most tracks lack melody or soloing so this music tends towards unchallenging easy-listening/new age.
By the way, I believe this is a re-issue of "Cashmere Moons" (on Innovative Communications) - not "Arcadia".

Fans of 90's Vangelis will certainly enjoy this album, because Symbian can be considered a Vangelis-clone, of course lacking the genius of the Greek Master. Still, the music is pleasant enough for repeated listening and would do well as a soundtrack for ... See full review

This music, that should be qualified as 'synth-pop', was recorded between 1988 and 1991. So one can expect many typical sounds, presets and percs from that era. Sound quality is not good (it's as if you're listening to the original cassette recording). ... See full review

This is cheapish mid-tempo ambience with lots of e-piano and rather irritating New Agy narration. Definitely not ambient.
