Labelling this as 'psychedelic rock' is a massive slap-in-the-face to the Free Design's sound. It's anything but psychedelic rock.

same. dear god isn't an awful song, but it doesn't seem to fit on the album at all, at least for me anyway. plus, if you're putting it up against mermaid smile, there's only one clear winner.

i'll never understand how they went from making the music on steve mcqueen to releasing the song 'the king of rock and roll', and this album. very strange transformation; not for the better.

Depends what you're into. I consider this their most mature release. A grown-up, sophisticated collection of pop-rock and, sometimes, emotional numbers that leave their past garage sound and delve into something really alluring. I don't think your ... See full review

Pretty decent album. Most of the tracks are worthy of listening to, but the real gem on here (and stand-out track) is the track 'Always You', which was written by Roger Nichols and Tony Asher. This song alone makes the LP worth buying; for some reason it ... See full review

i agree with the other comments. there really should be a vinyl reissue by now. their popularity has increased on yt massively, and rightfully so.

this needs a reissue. a criminally underrated album by a criminally underrated band who were on the better side of the 'bubblegum' rise in the 60s.

what a crime. i came on here looking to buy it, but there's really no vinyl release? it's one of the most iconic soundtracks from any movie ever!

Too right, JAA1956!
All of the songs fit together perfectly. I've probably listened to it about 20 times now, and I have A LOT of records.

Yay, early Beatles.
All My Loving is a personal favourite of mine, and the sole purpose as to why I purchased this release. I hadn't originally heard of Ask Me Why before, but upon hearing it I was instantly hooked. Great A side.
B side, the weaker side, ... See full review

Jimi Hendrix.
No more, no less.
You get what you come for. This x2 LP compilation truly shows the talent Hendrix had in a time of transformation for the psychedelia age.
Are You Experienced will always be my favourite Hendrix record. Every track you ... See full review

Probably the best compilation for a The Who fan, which, sadly, I'm not.
This is a record my Dad gave me, although he knows I'm not too fussed about them (screw you, Dad!)... However, I did get some fun out of it. Obviously, My Generation is a great song, ... See full review

Let me just say, this is a fantastic soundtrack to accommodate a fantastic film.
Although Nicolas Cage tried his hardest to destroy everything Wicker Man, this soundtrack survived his wrath, mostly because you'll forget about dreadful 2006 version, and ... See full review

Another great release, further showing The Cowsills' talent in their harmonies.
We Can Fly is one of those songs that really makes you smile. Sure, the metaphor is kinda cheesy, but message is so dream-like that you really can't argue with it. The ... See full review

The Cowsills' first ever release, and I'm very happy to have it in my collection.
Most Of All is certainly a rare gem, which could have, should have, been a hit. After a few listens, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Siamese Cat, which I believe is a ... See full review
