feel free to question me about any of my contributions or any item in my collection.
i have a good answer around 90% of the time!

Essential pages for the beginner Discogger wishing to contribute to the database:

Read this first before creating or editing any database submissions (subs). read it carefully, chunk by chunk and don't rush, because there is no need for rushing. there is a quickstart as well, so no excuses like "things gettin' tough 'round 'ere..."

i will suggest you read this regularly to ensure no recent changes to the mentioned guidelines

As someone fond of collecting many things, CD's being one of such, i found most terms on submission pages to be self-explanatory, but, not things like EI, so check out this glossary to save yourself from needless noobery.

making tags to other users and making links into your subs/edits, which is a useful thing to have if you want to quote differences between two similar releases, or to respond to a particular 'ogger.

And now for the hype about me:
---------------
submitted 200 images on tuesday, 02/04/2019. check this and thisfor extra tips on bringing pics to your subs.
---------------
gained voting rights on friday, 13/09/19.
I will only vote on things that i am familliar with, and that should result in a "correct" in most cases. for things i own myself, i might give a "correct and complete" if i can't find any empty data fields. be passionate and cherish your collection. ;-)

If i find a minor error in your sub, i will leave a comment in the edit history rather than giving a negative vote, or i will edit it myself.
i'm a mainly nice guy and loves repairing stuff, but won't take gladly to elitism or jokers sabotaging what isn't broken, that is where such things can apply.
---------------
I don't sell or buy on discogs, but on rare occasions i might sell records on eBay...
---------------
i don't do mp3's or soft-copies
---------------
focuses on videogame music, techno, most oldskool electronica, ''12s and cassette shell variants. i find myself submitting other types of music as well.
i don't do 8 track, or any pre 1970s formats. i don't mess with what i don't know.

Rough minimalism would be best to describe the music. clanging drums, atari-ish bleeps and samples snatched from records you've not heard of. a bit like what UNKLE was doing at that time, but mike does it more effectively... cleaner.
the composition is ... See full review

Nah! 808's were used in everything from pop to funk & disco even before then... and remember, house is tripped-down disco in it's purest. one thing i think might justify this as a house record is the piano style.
if 808s were the only justifier, then ... See full review

I'd give this a rating of 2.5 if i could, but that's not possible on discogs.
The A side is fine, it's just popcorn, and anyone with a love of early electronica should know this tune by now, but that Pepperbox tune on the B side was truely hazardous to ... See full review

It would be no surprise to anyone ;-) but i love oxygene part IV so much, i want it to be standard that all tabletop microwave ovens are to play it while cooking food. :-D

Something about a record called pinky is discussed in this video:

Downright cool bit of cover art on this, but when i initially picked it up, i was thinking it was a sega mega cd game! until i realised it was a music cd... got the 16bit game cartridge somewhere.
