Most likely the second rap record from the state of Kentucky, the first being "Louisville Rap" on Bridges in 1985.

I think it's safe to assume it's from 1979. The Bridges label was active during the late '70s. One or two of the artists featured had material out around 1979 also.

The instrumental of "Pink Gangster" is not actually an instrumental, it's just a slightly edited version of the vocal track. Different sound effects/samples being played, but for the most part the same as the vocal.

Hi,
The track you're referring to is "Our Most Requested Record". It is the B side of the Pimpin' Aint Easy single, and it I think it is on most CD releases. Hope this helps.

Hi,

That's actually where I saw that at! I believe I actually commented on that photo as well.

My particular copy of this version is a misprint. Center labels are on the wrong sides.

Probably came out around '88 or very early '89.. Schoolly-D's "Smoke Some Kill" album is mentioned on the Free Style Mission track.

Straight outta Cleveland, Ohio! Cuts by Mix-Master Quick, who worked on other Cleveland records, and was down with Rhyme Syndicate.

Rhode Island hip hop. Pretty good 12", very simplistic beats and good rhymes.

The vinyl release is missing "Most Wanted (3) - Good Old Days", which is on the CD release. Pretty disappointing, but still an outstanding release.

My CD is slightly different than the one shown on here. Where the center inner part is usually clear, mine is silver like the rest of the CD.
