Pitched up though. Never really noticed it in We Can Do This actually but it's a great acid line for sure

Cheers on the reviewer RalevBallack below! I've had a hard time over the years searching for those tracks from the CD as the tracklisting indeed was terrible...;-) But nice to read this back.... the HQ clubnights were absolutely mental every single month! Only discovered them in late '97 or so and went almost every month until late '99. What a great sound that was definitely, new to me coming from hardcore gabber in those days and Tom Harding's mixing style and sound surely appealed to me. JP was the man who caught me with his deeper sets similar to the 'old' room in the Melkweg just opposite of the Main whereas Phuture 303, Carlijn, Paul Jay and the likes displayed their top notch deeper techno sets. Still got this CD as well as the Tom harding live one too :) Sweet memories!

I have my copy in a yellow green and red colour scheme labelsleeve, anyone else?
Doesn't seem to be common looking at all my other Sapho releases and the different Sapho release pics here?

Architectural - Amour as reviewed by DJ_Roland

This is such an amazing album. Deep, raw, dreamy, dark, beautiful all at the same time. Superbly arranged and layered and his soundscapes which he has a patent on are just out of this world. An absolute masterpiece from the man who in my books is one of the best techno architects out there. With right his name belongs to him.
I buy almost all of his albums and records and when I heard this when it came out I was already hooked after listening halfway through the album. I'm very surprised this album hasn't had any reviews so far and doesn't seem to get the credits it deserves. It was still available at many recordshops for a long time and also here it doesn't seem to sell that well. Grab a (master)piece quick before the wolves discover and it follows so many other ridiculous selling priced records these days on Discogs!

It's a real pity this great album came out in the years that 'Digital and/or CD only' had became kind of the norm for a few years. Happily there has been a significant rise in the production of vinyl again since, especially for albums like this but I would love to see this one on a proper 3x12" album format! It deserves it

What on earth is this hyped-up BS for with this Goldrush-looking seller mentality recently.....all of a sudden this record is supposed to be so expensive and rare? I picked this up last year for 2 euro's in Mint condition and it was in many quantities on the Marketplace like that for many years!
Don't believe the hype people! You're only filling moneymakers' pockets...

No clue why this record can be picked up so dirt cheap, for years already here (as did I). You wouldn't expect that from a Classic of this level. Every time I hear Lipsing Jam Ring start up with this mesmerizing string it just gives me goosebumps and I always think of the Fantazia into the Jungle 3xCD I've been playing to pieces back in the day where Grooverider I think intro's with this one. Sweetness!

As below comment mentions this is a superb space out relaxation record. Big disappointment though that my space out trip is heavily interrupted by multiple spots where the needle skips for no reason. Bought the record brand new (2016 repress though I think) and my needle never skips out of nowhere. Clearly seems a bad pressing! Anyone else with this issue? Especially on the B-side.

Such a pity, or to be honest a rather disappointment this album isn't pressed on vinyl.... :-(
A massive, seriously massive album and deep dancefloor stuff if you ask me. Should've been pressed on black gold forever...
These images of the vinyl you see on the Youtube audio links are plain fake. Unless there are a few test pressings somewhere only kept by the artist? I funded for the Qrates crowdfund pressings but they completely failed unfortunately. Choosing this route was bound to fail without proper label and shop promotion.. A real shame for such a good album.

Cristoph (2) - 8-track DJ_Roland

This is a MASSIVE album and definitely needs a vinyl pressing! Gorgeous sounds where this quite new talented guy Cristoph seems to make the very fine crossover between the kind of progressive house there used to be coming out in the early 2000's and is also still played by the likes of Sasha and Digweed nowadays, and the deeper techy end of the current house and techno sounds.
At some point when listening I think it's a progressive album whereas during other moments it has that deep big room-ish techno feel with massive breaks and build-ups and club floorfillers. Well done! 10/10
Also remarkable btw that there is a Cassette album release whereas a Vinyl pressing would certainly not have misstood here.

Mine has the same track on both sides. Can't remember if this was normal for this one. Anyone else can clarify?

Regarding the track, it is definitely a hidden gem! Remember I wrote down notes of "TID-V-93001" and "label with 1/2" years and years back when I heard it from DJ Pavo playing it. Still thankful to him, and myself that I wrote that down :-) Wasn't added on Discogs for years back then! These are the most rewarding finds I guess.

Can't agree more, totally my feel about this too. For now I do like it and 'accept' it as a fan, but I do feel more than ever the wish that it is time now to move on for them. Saudade didn't get me unfortunately but they should try to re-invent their current sound, and I think this is really do-able and still keep that fresh vibe with all these different singers and artist in their group. I heard them live last week in Amsterdam and it was great and real fun, but that repeated 90's background beat needs some new fresh take. Let's hope for the best.

Does there still exist a Dark brown coloured pressing or was that not true? I recall that this was mentioned in the comments above in the release info but it seems to have been removed? I think there even were pictures of it here. Or am I confused? ;)

@ those two reviewers answering about the good quality. Have you heard their InGrooves represses? I really have this question too because all the represses I bought of their earlier albums on InGrooves were totally sh*t. Bad audio quality, some records even had loud crackle or hiss and strange marks on some records straight out of the sealed releases, thin quality vinyl and lots of warped vinyls. And that for that price they cost...:( I was absolutely gutted. Sincerely hope these pressings are better!

Skool Of Hard Knocks - Kandy Man / Kan U Feel It (Remix) DJ_Roland

I have a copy with a blank B-side label (Kan U Feel It side) so appears the gun/label logo is missing there. This is even there on the W/Lbl, Promo picture listed here. Looks like the label has been half cut off on mine on the edge, but it is vague and on other end of that label I don't see this cut line and more a of a hard white paint of the pressing plant. By daylight I see very vaguely through the white the oval circle and the label logo and Grand Larceny letters shining through the white paint.
Looks like a mispress? Doesn't seem the same as the other W/Lbl pic release which is exactly opposite. Anyone else?

Maurizio - Ploy DJ_Roland

There are releases sometimes which despite not being the original release on the first/original label/country and all that, are being just so much nicer to collect and play compared to the original which everyone is searching for and hence the high prices......and this is one of them. The Strategic Repulse of Ploy on this EP is pretty much the same as the original Strategic mix but the Strategic Repulse has this superb intro and slow build up towards the 4x4 beat which makes this a much nicer track to listen and play, or for that part even open a DJ set with. For me the stand out track and a serious hidden gem though is The Orb's (Battersea Was An Island Of Mud Mix) which is just another fantastic freaky ambient classic in The Orb's signature style and everyone has seemed to overlook.
And... for the coloured vinyl freaks well yes this one is regarding that part also a great to have item. 5 out of 5 for me on this one!

Jackmate - Halios EP DJ_Roland

April 25, 2016
Hi there, I've got the same! Just bought this record and it wasn't until I read your comment that I thought I'd check it and holy smokes apparently I have that error too. Must be a pressing fault. The circular motion of the groove just ends there, doesn't seem to connect properly (needle suddenly starts to swing real hard at that point) as far as I can see with a LED light and my bare eye onto that groove.. Shame :-(

I have this one too! I just bought it and it's the Barbados release with the orange/yellow label and 'Tuff Gong' on it. Is yours like that too? If not then I guess it's random on some releases maybe, don't know... but it is indeed a weird sound ;)

Babak Shayan - Flowers is an amazing track. It goes deep and drives and drives and after a while tingles in your head, making you close your eyes when you hear this in a deep dark club at late A.M.....
It samples Depeche Mode - Blasphemous Rumours, beautifully done.
