The metamorphosis is complete. Once comprised of 2 hairy Frenchmen producing slamming house music, Daft punk have become a full-time robotic outfit making disco soul. The music sounds like it's written by machines, but the Tin Man has got a heart. If ... See full review

Why use the word "predictable" when Agharta was recorded before Pangaea?

I'd personally throw his 1959 efforts into the mix in terms of the last point mentioned. Then again, who'd like to peak on his first effort if you go on to record for decades

The Bug's DJ sets (after party) are very evil, too

His bass players are amazing: he drafted in Eddie Gomez from the Bill Evans Trio and Miroslav Vitous from Weather Report. Dave Holland was there from the Bitches Brew days. He can do without bass, too, like on his Trio Beyond project. Too bad he's a wee ... See full review

Now that's the album I do not know. But I just want him to do decent music, whatever style. Just no self-indulgent shite.

Funny how everyone is outpricing Geir's signed copy that the artist himself is selling! Or is it?

It should certainly read serious "re-sellers" rather than serious collectors?

That does depend on how broad one's musical horizon and personal taste are. The statement holds some truth when you narrow it down to IDM.

I said it after I listened to ISAM. I also did not say that he has sold out (yet).

There is just something about Stan Getz I do not like. A certain harshness that shows especially on his straight jazz as opposed to his bossa nova albums. A bit indifferent. No, he does not sound like a dry Martini.

It's 2011 for sure, bur Riz Maslen as Neotropic and FSOL's Lifeforms album created more authentic atmosphere. His work is a complete hybrid drawing from thoses artists work and, whilst a new step for him and perhaps breaks headz, certainly offers not ... See full review

just that, in my opinion Taxi Driver is dull and rather drawn out. This is lengthy as well, but funky and black.

Maybe the most musical drum n bass album out there, which raised the standard for intelligent drum and bass very high. This and the follow up album were real highlights and have not faded over more than a decade now.

Rarely did I come across a remix of such quality as Charles Webster's "Californium" effort to conserve the originality of "sunchemical" as we know it yet to leave seemingly endless room for developing the idea onwards.
