PRIMUS is one of the most incredible bands of the last 30 years! Maybe this album isn't the first you should listen to, but it's really a necessairy trip you have to take, if you want to dig deeper into the Claypool-Universe! Best to be enjoyed on ... See full review

Ok, they sound something like the late Jesus & Mary Chain crossed with the Primitive s- but hey! - these Falls write great and timeless songs. Sons and daughters of the late Eighties they are, celebrating their elders decade of darkness, despair and ... See full review

This is a late NY-Hardcore masterpiece that served as a blueprint for later Nu Metal Bands. - Still unique in its combination of rhythmic patterns and melody though. - I listened to it maybe a hundred times, but it kicks my ass every time again! Pure ... See full review

His drug death in 1996 didn't make Tobias Gruben a legend such as Cobain or Curtis. Nevertheless he contributed a real underground-jewel with this album in 1989. A class mate of Nick Cave and "Neubauten" Gruben's "Die Erde" should not be missed out on ... See full review

Starting out as a german version of Dinosaur Jr. in 1990, "The Notwist" made a quick and astonishing development within the following 8 years, until in 1998 "Shrink" showed up with a mix of alternative-rock and electronic-pop, spiced with a little jazz ... See full review

It's 17 years old now, but still sounds fresh and timeless. One of my favourite records of the late 90's, this is Radiohead's turning-point from alternative-rock to experimental electronic-pop. - A real masterpiece fusing these genres! "Karma Police" to ... See full review
