Absolutely superb deep disco/boogie/jazz funk mix. Straddles that late 70s early 80s period and makes me smile and groove every time i put it on. Full of gems

Killer UK boogie that gets big props from Madlib and is part of his Black Soul mix. A bargain - get on it.

I have a white label pressing of this. It comes in a gatefold sleeve but not flipback. The run out matrix is IMPL 8049 and the sleeve is printed in England by Robert Stace. No dates on the release and it feels and looks like an early 70s pressing but ... See full review

Superb, deep warm meditative jazz/electronica. Highly recommended. This is one to lose yourself in and wonder how something made in 1979 can sound so contemporary.

An absolute classic. Forward thinking 'New European' synth monster that wraps you in a fur coat and takes your for a drive through an endless night of neon service stations!

Track A3 is a beautiful slice of C/S/N/Y style harmony driven valley rock

Stone cold classic, groundbreaking tune that still sounds superb today. Captures that mutating momet when breakbeat/rave was on the edge of becoming jungle.

Interesting record, the A side holds up well and if you really want to capture that 'moment' when we were on the podium at the Hacienda/Quadrant park etc then just play through the A side loud - its very much like a DJ mix and very sample heavy and raw ... See full review

Suprised this has yet to be reviewed. Although tagged as 'Free Jazz' this somewhat paradoxically limits this album as it is actually much more than a free jazz recording. It is actually a fascinating insight and moment of the avant garde London scene in ... See full review

Really interesting album that goes from pretty straight AOR to deep ethereal fusion on tracks like the majestic Barracuda.

A brilliant combination of the smooth sanguine vibes of Balearic with the funky edge of Disco thrown in for good measure. Eminently listenable, brilliantly produced and hugely varied. Essential purchase.

Ha good referencing 808 man, I was one of those kids in pumas, farah slacks, tacchini top and deerstalker in Berlin, Legends, Precinct 13 etc and this tune was the bomb back in the day. Literally changed our lives.
